Congratulations to the England team on winning the ODI series 2-1 in South Africa! Yes, we know that two of the five games were abandoned, but we’ll take an England win - however it comes.
Our ‘One Day Wanderer’ Tour – led by Howzat Travel Director Steve Eatherington – witnessed the historic and rare ODI series win on South African soil. To give you an insight into the trip, Steve kept a diary and we’ve just uploaded it to our website.

Tour Itinerary
Thursday 19th November
Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport and transfer to the Protea Hotel Wanderers for four nights accommodation.
Friday 20th November
After a day of leisure, we will transfer to and from The Wanderers for the 1st ODI day/night match.
Saturday 21st November
Full day to be spent at your own leisure.
Sunday 22nd November
Transfer to and from Centurion for the 2nd ODI match.
Monday 23rd November
Transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town, we will be transferred to the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction for five nights accommodation.
Tuesday 24th - Thursday 26th November
Full day to be spent at your own leisure. Sightseeing options in the Cape Town area are available at additional cost.
Friday 27th November
After a day of leisure, we will transfer to and from Newlands for the 3rd ODI day/night match.
Saturday 28th November
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival in Port Elizabeth, we will be transferred to the Garden Court King’s Beach Hotel for three nights accommodation.
Sunday 29th November
Transfer to and from St.George’s for the 4th ODI match.
Monday 30th November
Full day to be spent at your own leisure.
Tuesday 1st December
Transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for flight to Durban. On arrival in Durban, we will transfer to the Protea Hotel Edward for four nights accommodation.
Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd December
Full days to be spent at your own leisure.
Friday 4th December
After a day of leisure, we will transfer to and from Kingsmead for the 5th ODI day/night match.
Saturday 5th December
After a day of leisure, we will transfer to Durban Airport for a flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, where we will catch our flight home.

ONLY £2,599 per person based on 2 persons sharing a twin/double room. Single supplement available at £500 extra.
Additional Flight Options
We can provide connecting flights to Heathrow from other UK airports if required, subject to availability.
