Tour Itinerary
Sunday 1st April
You will be met on arrival at Colombo International Airport and will transfer to the hotel by luxury air-conditioned coach. On arrival at your chosen hotel, check in and the rest of the day is at leisure. We will request early check-in for our guests, but it will not be guaranteed by the hotel. If you wish to pay for your room for the night of 31st March to guarantee it is ready for you on your arrival, please let us know at time of booking.
Monday 2nd April
Day at leisure - to relax, explore the city or further afield.
Optional day tour: In the morning, leave on sightseeing tour of Colombo, driving through the commercial area of the 'Fort', so called because both the Portuguese and Dutch had a Fort at this point. After this, we drive past 'Pettah' - a noisy oriental bazaar with a unique blend of ancient vehicles, bargains, mosques and temples. We will visit a Hindu temple and drive past Jumi-Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque, then continue the tour through the Wolvendaal Dutch Church and Hultsdorf Law Courts to the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens. We then go on to Independence Square and the Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall, plus visit Gangaramaya Temple.
Tuesday 3rd April - Saturday 7th April 
Each day after breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the P. Saravanamuttu Oval to witness the second Test match between Sri Lanka and England. After each day's play, we will return back to the hotel.
On the evening of Saturday 7th April - after the last day of the Test - join your fellow Howzat Travellers and the tour leaders for a tour Farewell Meal.
Sunday 8th April
Day at leisure - to relax, explore the city or further afield.
Monday 9th April
After breakfast, transfer to the
Colombo International Airport for your flight home.

It is not compulsory to buy your tickets through Howzat Travel, however we strongly recommend you do to guarantee entry to the event and save you trying to obtain tickets when out in Sri Lanka.
