Tour itinerary

Saturday 8th January
Arrive at Sydney Airport in the morning and transfer to the Four Points Darling Harbour hotel for one night accommodation. The day can be spent however you wish - either exploring Sydney or relaxing after the flight.

Sunday 9th January
After breakfast, we will board a coach to take us to Canberra. En-route, we will enjoy an extended stop at the Bradman Museum of Cricket in Bowral. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the museum, including the new International Cricket Hall of Fame, and also witness a cricket match between the Bradman Foundation XI vs A Chance to Shine XI (a fixture which has historically featured some famous and prestigeous players like Allan Donald, Devon Malcolm and Graeme Hick). On arrival in Canberra, we will check into the Rydges Hotel, Capital Hill Way, for two nights accommodation.

Monday 10th January
After breakfast and at your convenience, you will make the short 10-minute walk to the Manuka Oval for the Prime Ministers XI v England friendly (start time TBC). After the day’s play, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Tuesday 11th January
After breakfast you can enjoy the day exploring Canberra. Afterwards, we will transfer to Canberra airport and catch our evening flight to Adelaide. On arrival in Adelaide, we will transfer you to the Grand Chancellor on Hindley hotel for two nights accommodation.

Wednesday 12th January
After a day at leisure, you will walk to the Adelaide Oval for the first KFC Twenty20 International (7.05pm start). Your ticket also enables you to see the preceding 1st Twenty20 International match between Australia women and England women if you wish. After the men's match, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Thursday 13th January
After breakfast and a few hours to explore Adelaide, we will transfer to Adelaide airport and catch our mid-afternoon flight to Melbourne. On arrival in Melbourne, we will transfer you to the Mantra on Russell Hotel for six nights accommodation.

Friday 14th January
After a day at leisure and at your convenience, you will walk to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for the second KFC Twenty20 International (7.35pm start). Your ticket also enables you to see the preceding 2nd Twenty20 International match between Australia women and England women if you wish. After the men's match, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Saturday 15th January
Day at leisure, to be spent in whichever way you choose - exploring the city or taking an optional excursion.

Sunday 16th January
After a morning at leisure and at your convenience, you will walk to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for the first Commonwealth Bank Series ODI (2.20pm start). After the day’s play, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Monday 17th January
After breakfast and at your convenience, you will walk to the nearby Melbourne Park Grounds for the opening day of the tennis at the Australian Open, with Rod Laver Arena (centre court) tickets provided courtesy of All Sports Travel, Howzat Travel’s multi-sport division, which is an official tour operator for this event. After the day’s play, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Tuesday 18th January
Day at leisure, to be spent in whichever way you choose - exploring the city, taking an optional excursion or even going to the second day of the tennis at the Australian Open tennis (notify us if you would like us to obtain a second day ticket for you.)

Wednesday 19th January
A day of leisure, then in the afternoon, we will transfer to Melbourne airport and catch our flight to Hobart. On arrival in Hobart, we will transfer you to the Grand Mercure Hadley for three nights accommodation.

Thursday 20th January
Day at leisure, to be spent in whichever way you choose - exploring the city or taking an excursion. We will be organising an optional group tour for a Bruny Island boat trip.

Friday 21st January
After breakfast and a morning at leisure, we will take a short walk to the harbour, where we will catch a boat crossing across the River Derwent to the Bellerive Oval for the second Commonwealth Bank Series ODI (2.20pm start). After the day’s play, we will catch a boat crossing back across the river into Hobart, and make our way by foot to the hotel.

Saturday 22nd January
After breakfast, we will transfer to Hobart airport and catch our midday flight to Sydney. On arrival in Sydney, we will transfer you to the Rydges Hotel, World Square, for three nights accommodation.

Sunday 23rd January
After breakfast and at your convenience, you will make your own way to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the third Commonwealth Bank Series ODI (2.20pm start). The hotel is located close to the central bus station for transfers to the SCG if you prefer to not make the 45 minute walk. After the day’s play, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

Monday 24th January
Day at leisure, to be spent in whichever way you choose - exploring the city or taking an optional excursion.

Tuesday 25th January
After breakfast and a morning at leisure, we will transfer to Sydney airport for our international flight home.
